She began practicing Pilates almost two decades ago to alleviate chronic back pain. Pilates changed her life and her body for the better. She has been teaching Pilates for over a decade and is a Polestar and BASI (Body Arts and Sciences International) certified pilates teacher. She specializes in injury prevention and rehabilitation, as well as working with chronically injured runners. A masters degree in social work from NYU and time spent as a family therapist provide Juliana insight into the emotional as well as physical nature of fitness training.'
