'Welcome to the Standing Barre Series. You will find all your favourite traditional barre style exercises, as well as some innovative new ones to target all your major muscle groups. Some of the workouts will use various pieces of equipment, such as a barre ball, light hand weights and a resistance loop, to increase the intensity, but you can do them without. This is traditional ballet barre thigh workout that focuses on small isometric movements to really get deep into the muscles of the inner and outer thighs as well as some glute and hamstring. You will perform all of the exercises on one side before moving to the other side. This overload technique will build a lean, strong lower body without bulk. The inflated playground ball will help you to engage even more muscles and keep you aligned perfectly so that you get the most out of each move.
