'Xiaomi Mi Band 2 at Gearbest: http://bit.ly/DBMiBand2 Review of the Mi Band 1S: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GaHY3TQpgfk The Xiaomi Mi Band 2 is an improvement over the original Mi Band 1s in that it has a display that shows time, steps, heartrate, calories burned and battery life. The Mi Band 2 will not show any calling data, SNS notifications on the screen, though will vibrate with notifications if you have it setup to do so. It will do vibrating alarms to wake you up silently as well as does a good job tracking sleep data and syncing it with iOS or Android devices. The watch has the same issue with heart rate tracking that the Mi Band 1S does, it will only track heart rate when you trigger a heart rate check, it won\'t passively monitor heart rate all the time and sync it 24x7 like some other smart bands. This means if you don\'t remember to take a read everyday or after activities you won\'t get a read in your Mi Fit App for your heart rate. The heart rate monitor is even more picky about holding your arm up and bent horizontally to get an accurate heart read, it is hit and miss and sometimes would give me an X even when holding my arm in proper position or laying down and trying to read heart rate. It does a good job tracking and syncing steps however, and it won\'t count steps while you are driving from my testing, it only counts walking steps. Overall at the price, the watch has a longer battery life and better syncing of sleep data than the ID107 smart bracelent, but the ID107 had better heart rate reading. My only recommendations for improvement on the Xiaomi Mi Band 2 would be on the heart rate monitor, it should be able to monitor passively all the time as an option and have a faster read/more accuracy picking up without having to hold your hand in a specific position. The silicon band is fairly comfortable and have worn it for weeks non-stop with no issue with redness or irritation of skin, I have also showered with it on fairly often and it is more waterproof than the ID107 bracelet which gave out under water.
