The aim is to develop or maintain the ability of players to perform power or intense running in a time interval of 10-45 seconds. Velocity endurance is metabolically ensured by anaerobic capacity. The exercise focuses on intensive work with a soccer ball, sprinting at maximum speed, partial changes of direction and subsequent acceleration with or without the ball. The player interleaves the conditioning component of the intense run with the game component in the form of dribbling the ball, working with it in the form of wall-pass and stopping the ball, or finishing in small portable goals.
