'#stabilityball #yogaball #fitnessover50 Stability ball is a tricky thing! I tend to turn to it being exhausted by rough cardio, when I want to relax and do something low impact, almost static. But I always forget that yoga ball workout is not an evening cocktail party or even a cooldown stretching set! It requires some strength and balance skills to tame your physio ball! But once you’ve managed it and synchronized these “tension & release cicles” you finally start to enjoy the process, its elegance and power! Among others variations of pilates workouts I find a swiss ball workout one of the most inspiring and challenging. And for me it certainly is an effective one in terms of developing the core strength. I also noticed huge improvement in my coordination and balance which were never really great and definitely deteriorated with age. If you’re more into slow and not sweaty physical exercises like yoga or pilates it’s worth paying attention to a fitball. Ladies may also like the visual aesthetics of therapy ball exercises, their sophistication and gracefulness! In this particular 10-minute full body workout with a stability ball we’re targeting all major muscle groups, including chest, back, arms, abdominals, legs, glutes and shoulders.
