This workout WILL challenge you - modifications are offered throughout but an excellent option (as always) is to reduce your range of motion and/or lighten the weight. As instructed during the incline hip thrusts, be sure to place the back of your sturdy chair against a wall. If you don’t have access to a wall or bench/chair continue with second position squats (previous exercise) - Performing on the ground (hip bridge) may be an option for you if you’re in your first trimester, but once your belly grows, I don’t recommend lying on your back for very long. (The weight of your belly could restrict blow flow) Bringing it to an incline will keep your heart above your belly. Take breaks as needed! This is YOUR workout. Some days it’s just about showing up and some days it’s for the challenge. Honor your body at all times. If something doesn’t feel right, stop immediately, and as always please consult with your doc before beginning any new exercise regimen. You got this momma!!
