This is a relatively new... woman are now able to join the Royal Marines. As of 2016 the government made the decision to allow women to join frontline infantry and combat units such as the Royal Marines, Parachute Regiment and RAF Regiment. Women can now join the Special Forces if they want to.  This is a massive change and has many critics.... however the way I see it is, women can now join the Royal Marines so I want to help them as much as I can, just like I\'d help a male recruit.  At first I did not think it was the best idea however I know feel that female recruits need to be supported to do well and succeed in the Royal Marines.
